Bio
Israel Ofori is a budding young man who has championed the course of the contemporary gospel music industry in Ghana.
Israel started singing in the church at a very young age of 5. Growing up in the Liberty A/G church, where he is still a member, he was the choir and Music Department director for years.
He has been a Worship Leader for Men of Worship Choir, Music Director for Motorway Gbawe District Mass Choir, member of River of Joy Acappella, and a lot others. He has developed the love of music and has come to the admiration of many for his style of music. His passion for the music ministry has taken him to various platforms, both in the church and on public platforms including bands Alive (TV reality show). He is now touted as an icon of praise and worship.
Israel holds a degree in Management with Computing from the Regent University and a vocal training certificate. He currently works as an IT professional. Israel’s quest for doing it right when it comes to the industry of Gospel Music in Ghana stretched him to start an entertainment review show on the acclaimed Sunny 88.7fm.
Starting as a host of this show, he now has direct supervision of the entertainment show. He now has experience in the radio and media circles in general.
He believes God’s work has to be done and done well. He intends to raise the standards and revolutionize the Gospel Music industry in Ghana as a whole so God’s name be praised.
